Merrisa Wyllie is a self-proclaimed and self-taught Artist and Writer and Author of Ready Or Not: A Series Of Sentimental Poems.

She was born and raised in The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago but currently resides in New York. She possesses a degree in Business Administration but is deeply passionate about art and creativity.

Mpowered was established in 2017 through Merrisa's dream of introducing her art to the world. Since then, Mpowered has been refurbished into a Creative Consulting business and community for developing Creatives with stories of trauma.
